  2. Fender ® (used, 1966) Stratocaster

    Fender ® (used, 1966) Stratocaster

    Tag No 39-2041 Used
#160788, three-tone sunburst, in very good condition with newer Fender rectangular hard shell case.

The fact that this vintage vision of virtue is stamped “ES” inside, for “Enter Special,” a rare feature, and was made with an unusual looking three-tone sunburst – shaded in a manner one normally never sees – is a plus; that it’s a bona fide ’66 is a plus (with just a few revisions), and that it plays extraordinarily well and sounds like Layla, herself, on a bed of lightly sweetened lingonberries, is indeed the reward that awaits us all at the end of a life well served.  This is priced at $8,243 or, at our Cash Discount Price, $7,995 but until the pickup is restored it can't be ordered on-line.

  3. Gibson (used, 1974) Les Paul Custom

Gibson (used, 1974) Les Paul Custom

    Tag No 39-2029 Used
#190828, cherry red finish, #190828, stamped “Made in USA,” in very good condition, with original black form-fitting hard shell case.

The Gibson Les Paul Custom was designed as the top-of-the-line in the Les Paul Series – and it is elegant, regal and stately beyond all expectations.  It has, for example, a crème bound ebony fingerboard that measures 1 11/16th” at the nut, and that fingerboard is inlaid with 10 large mother of pearl rectangles, or blocks.   All things considered, this guitar has survived the decades in rather nice condition, and it is, as expected, a player par excellence.

Our Discount Price is $3,087.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $2,995.00.

    Tag No 39-2037 Used
#027770581, dark cherry matte finish, in excellent plus condition with an original Gibson gigbag.

In all, this is an extremely fine rock ‘n’ roll performance tool, a sound machine with versatility and suitable for full stage domination.   You may recall that Pete Townshend of The Who used a Gibson SG Special as his primary instrument from 1968 to 1972.    Some memorable and even timeless music has been created using an electric guitar whose visage appears quite similar to this one.    This is an attainable alternative to the player on a budget who wants a USA-made Gibson for a price nearly anyone can afford.

Our Discount Price is $669.00 ; Our Cash Discount Price is $649.00.

  6. Gibson (used, 2010, demo) Les Paul Custom Shop

Gibson (used, 2010, demo) Les Paul Custom Shop

    Tag No 39-1932 Used
#CS000134, This guitar’s body is chambered, it has a slim, comfortable neck, and it is finished in the unusual color of Colorado Sunrise.

This is one of the most beautiful and specially hand-built Gibson Les Paul guitars as we have seen in many moons.   The top is made from highly figured maple finished in a color distinctly different than anything that has come before – suggesting a vortex of three-dimensional transcendence into another world entirely.  The gold plating on the pickups, tune-o-matic bridge, tuners and stop tailpiece is perfect – it has never seen the touch of a fuzzy fingered fretted instrument facilitator.

Our Discount Price is $3,881.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $3,765.00.

  16. Fender ® (used, 1956) Stratocaster

    Fender ® (used, 1956) Stratocaster

    Tag No 39-1841 Used
#08916, two-tone sunburst, in excellent condition with original rectangular tweed case with brown leatherette bindings.

Not to beat the deceased Equus caballus or anything but, as you may have heard, the Fender Stratocaster guitar changed the course of modern rock ‘n’ roll history.  Leo Fender of Fullerton, California is credited with having popularized the electric solid body.   He reasoned, correctly, that he could bolt a slim, easily playable maple neck with a maple fingerboard to a solid body made of alder or ash, add six-strings and the sound that would be created, when amplified through a tube amplifier (also of his manufacture) would actually turn out to do nothing less than change the course of Western music.

Our Discount Price is $37,110.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $35,995.00.
