  1. Gibson (used, 1919) Style L-4 guitar Archtop Guitar

Gibson (used, 1919) Style L-4 guitar Archtop Guitar

    Tag No 39-2078 Used
#49525, archtop oval hole, cherry sunburst, in excellent condition with original black hard shell case.

First of all I have to tell you that this may be the finest and cleanest example of a late teens Gibson L-4 as we have ever seen.  It is almost a “time capsule” piece (frog not included).    The Gibson L-4 was the highest and best Gibson guitar offered in this time period, and also considered a very large bodied guitar in the period following Doublya Dobleya One.  This voluptuous and still vital vole measures 15 7/8” at the wider (lower) bout, 11 ½” at the upper bout and has a scale length of 24 ¾”.

Our Discount Price is $3,299.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $3,200.00.

Gibson (used, 2011) ES165 Herb Ellis

Tag No 39-1766 Used Hear this instrument in our demonstration video!
#13411730, sunburst, in excellent plus (near mint) condition with the white protective covering still on the pickguard, with the Gibson Certificate of Authenticity (like a small diploma) and the un-written on Gi

Per the Gibson web site:  "Herb Ellis ES-165: Jazz legend Herb Ellis took a hefty slice of Charlie Christian-style bebop and sprinkled on some blues to create his own classic jazz guitar style in the 1950s. Through his years with the Oscar Peterson Trio and as a soloist, his guitar of choice has been a single-pickup ES-175, but now Gibson has dressed up Herb's signature model with split-parallelogram inlays" It has a single gold plated humbucking "floating" pickup attached to the pickguard so there is no penetration of the top to inhibit sound quality.  A single gold high hat volume knob depends from the laminated edge, white-black-white, elevated pickguard.

    Tag No 39-1657 Used
#98778, non-cutaway guitar, in very good plus condition with original brown exterior hard shell case.

  7. Gibson (used, 2008 DEMO) Byrdland Florentine

Gibson (used, 2008 DEMO) Byrdland Florentine

    Tag No 39-1631 Used
#23188001, in “as new” condition, a demo, in spectacular vintage sunburst, with the Florentine cutaway, with Gibson Custom Shop logo black hard shell plush lined case.

The Gibson Byrdland is one of the finest hand-made, carved and marveled-over examples of an electric archtop jazz guitar, and this virtually unplayed, unregistered and ‘as new’ condition example – is as clean and factory original as we have ever had the pleasure to offer.  The design of this example harkens from the Elvis Presley era – the sharp cut maple and spruce, made from all solid wood, carved top and back; a slightly slimmer electric archtop guitar featuring twin gold-plated humbucking pickups.

Our Discount Price is $7,216.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $6,999.00.

#1130297, acoustic-electric cutaway archtop, in excellent plus condition with original hard shell case.
